My love towards Rhodesian Ridgebacks goes back a long way. I was four when I got Butch, my first ridgeback, and we bonded straight away. He gave me a one of a kind perpetual experience – growing up beside such a wonderful breed was amazing. He always looked after me with devotion and had endless patience whenever it came to playing with me. He taught me compassion and unconditional love.

Not only me, but my whole family has commitment and deep affection for dogs so when our first pedigreed dog, Morpheus arrived, we wanted to make a go of dog-shows. Ever since then, there’s been no stopping us: dog-shows have come with the need for detailed studying and eventual understating of the breed and a growing enthusiasm for these incredible dogs.

And, six years after participating in our first-ever dog-show, we made our own kennel, called Hopeful Star.
